I had the pleasure of briefly interviewing el maestro Oscar Romero on his new work along 16th street east of Blue Island. He is doing this for FREE. All he asked is if you see him out there and would like to contribute he is accepting gift cards to Blick and Home Depot so he can buy more materials. Note: This interview is in Spanish

We had a wonderful time and had a chance to chat with @pabloserranoart about his mural in progress. Since the weather will be near 70 degrees this Saturday I am offering another bike tour at 12pm! I apologize for the late notice, but we had planned to shut down tours for the season due to Chicago’s unpredictable fall weather. However, being that this Saturday looks to be sunny and clear skies I think it would be the perfect opportunity to bike around and discuss the neighborhood’s murals. $10 Please feel free email/DM me with any questions. During the protests against police brutality many Pilsen businesses boarded up their windows. Several artists use the boards as canvasses, many of which did this for free. Some local paint stores donated paint. I apologize that I could not credit eve
